Our Capital Tracking solution includes everything you need to budget, approve, and track Capital Budget vs Actual counts, dollars, and project types on both a monthly and cumulative basis.

To use it…

By installing and leveraging our predefined set of custom data and processes, you can then:

• raise Capital Budget Requests by year, location, and project type
• for each Request, confirm the estimated Capital Budget amount and target timing
• convert those Requested targeted within the upcoming Fiscal Year into Projects, locking in their initial Capital Budget Amount
• refine the expected Capital Costs (whether higher or lower) as the specific projects unfold
• in due course, officially submit each Project for approval, tracking the submission as On Time, Late, or Unsubmitted (to encourage timely submission and approval)
• monitor the variance of the resulting stacked Projects (based on planned Start Date) by individual month and cumulative year to date
• manage all Projects and take appropriate action (i.e. Approve, Defer, Reject, Dead) to ensure you maximize the overall capital available, while still living within your means

As illustrated in the Media section below, our Capital Tracking solution includes a set of powerful umonitoring reports which you can easily replicate and refine into subsets (e.g. by Country, Division, Portfolio, Manager, etc.) tailored to your organization. The data is presented in real time, from within Workfront, in a ready-to-present manner, either online, or in PDF format, without the need for costly or time-consuming integrations to external systems.

Your first year’s annual license of our Capital Tracking solution includes up to four hours for branding, installation, and training. And because it’s based on our Magic Reports technology, if you’d like us to tailor it to suit your needs exactly, we’d be happy to discuss a fixed quote to do so.
