To use it…
By licensing our Doc Sync solution, as shown in the screen shots, it allows you to then:
- Check for any new or modified Documents (or Document Versions) that are stored natively (vs Google Docs, Box, etc.) within Workfront at the Project, Task, and/or Issue level, and copy them locally to a similar folder hierarchy over the internet to a specified Local Network Location
- Create Task Scheduler Doc Sync job(s) on a Windows computer with an optional filter and desired frequency (e.g. 11pm nightly)
- Thereby create a local copy of new or modified documents for expanded access and backup
- Create an optional “Excel Document Map” so users can easily filter, find, and open local files
Note that Doc Sync does NOT require Fusion
